Weathering Color Thinner (50 ml)

The premium weathering thinner Mr. Hobby Mr. Weathering Color Thinner in a compact 50ml package is an essential chemical for advanced weathering (patination) of plastic models.

This product is specially developed for the safe dilution, treatment and cleaning of weathering paints and products from the popular Mr. Weathering Color oil line (WC line).

It allows modelers to achieve smooth transitions when creating flowing dirt, settled dust, splashing mud or subtle washes.

Maximum care for the underlying paint

The main technological advantage of this thinner is its unique chemical composition based on very fine and pure mineral oil. It is designed to be as gentle as possible on the underlying layers. It does not dissolve standard acrylic paints (Aqueous H series) or Mr. Color lacquer paints (C and GX series) and Surfacer.

If a modeler makes a mistake when applying the patina or applies too thick a layer of shadow, they can safely wipe it off the surface, adjust it, or wash it off completely, using this thinner and a fine brush or cotton swab, without disturbing the finished camouflage underneath in any way.
